Happy New Year, East Coast!!!!!!

Happy New Year, East Coast!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even TRY and send you each an individual Happy New Year, I know I would leave someone out, so very Happy to all of you!

Only another hour to go for us here in the Midwest!!!!! We are, if things go as planned, rocking at Charlie's Pub with the Minneapolis Fiends! We'll try and get Aleta and Gayle to confirm that with their I phones....

I think we just watched the Ball drop on Times Square. I love that. Not enough to want to BE there, but I love it on TV.

Back to Rock...

(hee-hee, due to the magic of post-Posting, I am writing this on Tuesday Evening....MMMwwwhahahah!)

I'm not sure I can stay awake 'til Ms. Fabulous gets home. :(
My eyes be tired now. DH already went upstairs, though I don't know if he's actually trying to sleep. The girls have been out for a couple of hours. Sleep is calling my name, but I know I'll be here at midnight.

At 9:39 PM , Blogger Siri said...

Lys - did you just become anonymous?

Oh - Gayle's picture - it is Loverly.

Lys if that is you, I am so jealous of seeing the Sandhill Crane flyout - what a treat! Someday, I'll go to Nebraska at the right time to see them migrate there. We would go crane looking in South Texas when Ma and Pa wintered there (Near Corpus Christi)

Yah, evidently some 20,000 Sandhill Cranes and 60,000 Light Geese come here to a huge bird refuge area in New Mexico, about ten miles away from me along the Rio Grande.

THANK YOU SALLY!!

Hoppy Nude Dear!

At 10:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

alright, I am COWBELLED!!!!

how could I NOT know about this :)

I found the you tube videos on my own...plus a REALLY weird MySpace page referring to Christopher Walken's Cowbell Orchestra.

CNN has 3 Doors Down playing "Citizen Soldier" live now.

Can you imagine how much I appreciate this band? They REALLY understand. From the moment I first heard "Love Me When I'm Gone", and saw that video...anyway..

Okay, time to pour more champagne for the next time zone!!

At 10:00 PM , Blogger Siri said...

There's a cowbell app for the G1. It lets you play the cowbell and includes Christopher Walken clips.
