Happy New Year, Estonia!!!!!

Happy New Year, Estonia! I may be mis-remembering this one, but don't we have a Fiend in Estonia, Nathilie's friend, Martha, is it?

If I got the country wrong, this one is for you, my dear!

Love and Happy,
Lorraine

I so wish I could be going at the gig too...
I suppose I shall be awake in time to wish you a happy new year when it's time for you. When is the show finishing?

Hap........py New Year, Martha!

Emily, you're welcome. :)

Plans? I need to get each DD into the shower to wash hair. Change the sheets on their bunk beds. Get them into bed sometime around 8 PM. Check here off and on until I can't stay awake. Probably have champagne at midnight, thanks to DH's boss's boss; yes, it was a first. Hope the neighbors don't decide to set off fireworks in the street like they did Independence Day, though at least we're not under a fire ban.

I think that got it all. ;)

Yes, thank you Dabbler!!!!!!

And Lys, before you get too deep into Champers e-mail me your addrees, yes? We needs it, and I sent e-mail, alas, no reply...Well, that I can find now anyway.

I have four terrorized beasties here (not counting Cesare, here): the fireworks have started and it's just too much excitement for them...

Happy New Year, Estonia! And to all the fiends. And I will be partying with you in spirit, and checking in here, and rocking the free world in my mind. I'd rather be with y'all in body, as my mind isn't always the best company (see crazy dream from earlier), but still -- it can get pretty fun imagining y'all partying like fiends all around the world! :-)

Nat-Law, the will so be our house later. The doggssess hate the fireworks!

I tried to put them to bed but it is just as useless as us trying to sleep...
And we are lucky in some way: What with the economic crisis, they have bought less crackers and fireworks than usual.

Did I mix up Rome, Nathilie? I may have.

Checking...

Rome is happening now as we type.
Sounds like the end of the world although much less than the first year I spent in Holland (all windows closed and it still smelled of cordite in my house).

Ack! Went the wrong way!

Rome post is UP!!!!!!

Hey Fiends! Rome is going all happy new year and you are missing it! And next up the UK!

This is NOT an easy party I know, but stay with us!

Thank you one and all for the good wishes. At the time of the change, I was at parties down in the centre. We too have fireworks but they are stupendously gorgeous, set off over the sea.

Yes, Nat. I noticed that there were fewer stupid kids trying to blow each other up this year. So, some good from the economic crisis
