Trick or Treat

I am getting ready for MY Halloween party! What started as a small get together is now turning into a Halloween extravaganza. How did that happen? Oh, it is a Malena party. I do tend to get carried away with these things. I only WISH Fablo and Kitty were here. Kimberly Butler would also be a silly addition to the mix. NEVER grow up! That's what I say!
Here are a few pics from Halloween I thought you might like. The feathers are from Fablo. She bought them for me at the WI Renn Faire. Oh how I miss that. Look at my little Alice! Isn't she cute!

We had some darling trick or treaters this year. Now for the finale tonight. I'm going to try and rig up my camcorder, or at least the webcam. I'm baking sugar cookies and brownies and caramel popcorn. I thought since the neighborhood kids and I don't drink, we should at least OD on sugar. (On my actress diet, that's 2 cookies) Oh the pain! I also bought a super dorky skull fountain, to keep the "Mormon Punch" in. (That's Rasberry sherbet and Sprite)
I think I'll add cranberry juice for color. The punch oozes from the skulls eyes. It should be fun. I've got the courtyard all lit up with spiders and lights. Oooooooo darlinG!
I hope it is a big success and everyone has a great time.
LaMies, let me know when you get your loot!
Party ON!

You look outrageously beautiful, my dear.
Great shadow effect with feathers and horns. Those horns are from Darkness the magnificent, aren't they?
And the more I am looking at this ceiling lamp, the more I am thinking it is an alien in disguise...
I'd like to see pictures of the skull and of the lit courtyard, if you could manage it.

Best luck with the Halloween Party, Mad Madame Malena!!! I am SURE it will be a blast! (Wish I were there)

Thanks for the pics, your wee Alice is adorable (is she your little one?)... The feathers are gorgeous, but not prettier than you. You are such a stunner.

but that house!!! wow... the bust of Darkness is incredible and intimidating and the shadows on the roof are very cool (he is at the top of my favourite Villain list, Miles did a WONDERFUL job on him) Love the furniture, love the dracula and frankie heads, love the cute little vampirella statue in the background, but I still think I love you best, you are the best piece of artwork in there (though the Nocturna painting in the background is splendid too).

Happy Halloween, Malena!

I'm extremely giddy about receiving my package today. I loved it, although I had to wonder what my mailman thought ;)

Thank you very much and have a great time at your party!

Wonderful pictures Ms. Marvelous! I trust the party was marvelous, too. ;)

My youngest's birthday celebration is now over. She wanted a Red Velvet Cake that was heart shaped. My husband convinced me (it really wasn't that hard) to buy the Duncan Hines cake mix, and I was lazy and bought their Cream Cheese Icing, too. It's okay, but making it from scratch is better. It also takes a lot more time. Despite problems getting the cake out of the heart shaped silicon pans, and the icing capturing lots of crumbs while being applied to the cake, she was happy. Chuck E. Cheese's...::sigh:: the pizza was decent, 100 tokens is WAY too many to split between a 4 year old and a 6 year old, and it took somewhere in the vicinity of 20 minutes for an employee to get over so that we could use the 4 year old's tickets to get prizes. Not sure we'll be back any time soon due to that, and that alone.

Hope everyone sets their clocks back tonight. We get an extra hour to sleep!

I am right with you about Chuck E. Cheese. I have been there so many times! I'm such a kid.

Thanks for all the compliments on the feathers, the house and such. I am downloading photos now and will put them on my blog.

Glad you got the goodies Amy. I wish it was more.

I woke up with a sugar hang over. Miles took us to Santa Barbara today. I actually turned down a party to stay home. There's nothing better than a family night. Nothing in all the world.

Goodnight my online family. Love you all!!!

You certainly know how to dress for Halloween Mistress Malena! I didn't get many trick or treaters this year which was a bummer, but went to the West Hollywood Parade this year, but your custom out shines anything I saw there. You always look beautiful! One thing anout Chuck E Cheese, I'm grateful they sell beer & wine at the Vegas for kids!
