Adventures in the Culinary World...

There were NO Adventures in Shrimp in the Plan tonight. I thought I might cook a chicken, which would be nice for us, and then I could take some cooked bits home to the Kitties.

All good.

I thought I would make a cauliflower-cheese to go with it. We had lots of bits of cheese from last week, a cauliflower, I have been experimenting with different ways to make the cheese sauce....

And created this, one of the most beautiful, bizarre, and tasty dishes ever....

Did I mention the cauliflower was purple?

Yes, here in this town where one cannot buy a Shrimp fit to eat, one can buy purple cauliflower. It's pretty. It's purple. What's not to love????

And it rocked. The cheese sauce was close to perfect! Better than ever before. It made me happy. All concerned, loved it.

I will make it again when next we have company.

I will become famous for this dish.

And before you say you Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham...

Love and Purple,
Lorraine

Recipe, pretty please with knobs on! Or is it a Deep Secret for which the world may not be ready? :)

I've never seen a purple cauliflower in person. I want to find one now.

Oh, I've had a terrible few days, but this post made me smile. And I really needed to smile tonight. Perhaps your cooking (or the purple veggies) have curative power. They are purple, after all.

At 7:28 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

Woo!

They have purple and orange cauliflower at our farmer's market but i'm assuming it tastes like regular cauliflower so bleh for me. I like broccoli and think cauliflower looks all cool and brain-like but don't like to eat it.

Are you going to post the recipe Q?

At 7:28 PM , Blogger Jess said...

Chantrelle - It's a Food Post. Obviously, you're first. That's only fitting. Even if you don't like cheese. :)

I like cheese. Mmm, cheese.

Come to think of it, why would i want the recipe, i hate cheese *and* cauliflower...that was some sort of foodie reflex---recipe please--what?

I made a baked trout filet tonight w/ marjoram, parsley, garlic, shallot and olive oil, served w/ rice, that ben said was really good and i even got a hug and kiss for! That ruled.

More than one person has changed their minds about a variety of veggies after eating with me...

Recipe, eh? Never posted one but here goes....

Take a purple cauliflower and toss in a pot of boiling water, and do a sort of Blanche/cook for a bit.

While this is doing, make the cheese sauce. This is the tricky bit...

Take some butter, how much depends on how decedent you are feeling. Then take some oat flour and rye flour (or wheat is no one is allergic) but I think it is important to have two.

And you put the flour in with the melted butter and STIR it and cook it for 2 minutes.

THEN you add milk. And STIR, like WHISK until it boils, turn off the heat, and add all the chopped up old cheese you have, the more kinds the better, but I think old cheddar is nice. LOTS of it, and stir until all is melted and , hopefully thickens into a sauce. If it doesn't you have added too much or too little of something, and you are kind of, uh, screwed.

Pour it onto the Cauliflower, which is now in some sort of baking dish, and pop the entire mess into the oven, for a while, on whatever heat you have going on.

And there you have it.

I never measure anything, so you have to go on how things FEEL...

Good luck!

El, sorry you have been having a bad time of it! Can you come down Friday and be with us? We will have fun....

And I too, think it is fitting Chantrelle is first on the Food Post!

How did I do on the recipe posting?

At 7:44 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

I don't measure either. That's why i can't bake. It's too precise and drives me bazonkers. I cook by smell, look and taste.

At 7:44 PM , Blogger ivenotime said...

mmmm, looks delightful Lorraine! Jess, no purple cauli? we have it on occasion here, not often but once in a while - it is quite pretty. El, hope things start to go better, but at least you had some smiles! Chantrelle, your baked trout sounds amazing, glad Ben appreciated it too. sigh, i had a grapefruit for dinner. so busy trying to fit in all the work i had today left no time for doing much cooking - i try not to let the holidays get to me but trying to fit in a few cards to my elderly relatives gets harder every year, let alone trying to wrap up year end accounting, and the semester. anyone else feeling a bit pulled in many directions??

At 7:46 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

I should try that recipe for hubby and ben. I kinda like the challenge of cooking things i don't like sometimes--just to see if i can do it without tasting it.

And yep, i am totally pulled every which way and will add one more way once our xmas cards show up in the mail (family photo cards).

At 7:55 PM , Blogger Jess said...

Score! \o/ I want to try this. If I can find purple cauliflower.

I don't measure much either, unless I'm baking (which isn't often). I measure into the palm of my hand a lot for spices and herbs. And then sometimes I just shake it over until it looks like enough.

The flour bit seems tricky-- you're not talking much flour, are you? Maybe a spoon or two?

At 8:00 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

I have to say, the purple does make the dish look slightly radioactive. It really keeps it's purple much more than purple potatoes do.

I will need to find a use for this where i can pick it out and everyone else can eat it ... but i can still make brilliantly purple food.

At 8:03 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Ah yes, the Saucer Prints. Not many know about them yet, but I can tell you they are limited. Very. And cool. And when they are gone, they are gone.

And they will go very very fast.

Inside tip for my Fiends.

Move quickly.

I don't get too pulled as I kind of opted out. Surprising how relaxing things get when you cut out everything you HAVE to do this time of year.

Says whom?

I love buying gifties for my friends, and if I want to I do it, all year round.

I think the holidays have lost a lot of focus, it's not about being with family and loving, it's about buying and going to parties and sending out cards. And eating badly, and all the other things it has turned into...

Then again, my life is pretty intense, not sure I would notice...

And what is up with the "If you don't have somewhere to BE, you will BE depressed" and "Orphans Xmas?"

A day where I do not have to go anywhere or do anything and can stay home??? Sign me the heck up!

Do what you WANT to do, and you will be happy.

(I need to do this as a post don't I?)

At 8:05 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

I think everyone should cook purple food. AT least once. Made me happy. It sure does STAY purple...

I think more than a spoon or two, I used more tonight and it was the best ever.

At 8:05 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

The cards are really the only part that gets me. Since ben i feel a bit obligated. Pre-ben i never did cards.

The rest I like. I'm drying herbs for gifts. And i like buying gifties too.

And we eat Goodly!! :D

I've never heard of purple cauliflower, and I thought I knew purple. The picture reminds me of a scene in "Four Weddings and a Funeral", about Scarlett's dress being a statement via "pagan orange and ecclesiastical purple".

Random association, who me?

At 8:25 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Yea for Fiends tomorrow night!

The sets go hour and a half, hour and half hour, mostly. First set is pretty mellow, tho one never knows, the last half if it is the best, once we get warmed up. Generally second set ROCKS, and third set depends, always weird.

After 8 sounds perfect, El, glad you are coming.

At 8:27 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

I loved Four weddings and a funeral, the first 5 minutes or so no one says anything but FUCK!

On another movie note, just saw SHORTBUS. Blew me a way, in a good way. What an amazing movie! It just makes you happy. Which is weird, considering the content...

At 8:51 PM , Blogger Na said...

Oh, yes, classic opening dialog, had not thought of that for a while. - need to remember to not invite Grandma to watch it with us as we did once with "Matchmaker", having forgotten how many times "fuck" is used in that one.

I feel so out of touch - "Shortbus" rings a vague bell for me, but I've a feeling everyone else knows about it...

Do wish a glorious evening tomorrow! I have some friends/family around Twin Cities area, will have to time a visit down there with one of your gigs some day.

I'll try almost anything once, and knowing that it is just purple cauliflower in cheese sauce, I would happily eat it.

I think I just changed my mind for what to take to the local spinners and weavers Christmas party Monday night. Sadly, not purple cauliflower in cheese sauce. I'm thinking more roasted roots with honey and rosemary. Though roasted cauliflower would be good, too. I'm just not feeling like braised Brussels sprouts with pecans.

I think my Night Garden poem is finished. I read it to DD1, whose 7, and she liked it, though the end made her stomach...nervous; her words, not mine. Then she wrote about dinosaur days, after quizzing me about whether I had to write a Night Garden poem. I told her I didn't have to write anything, but people had been invited to write on the subject, if they wanted. Then she wrote about dinosaur days.

Anyway, you'll be getting it soon, Ms. Fabulous and Jess. I'll also post it on my Blogger and LJ blogs. My husband took a lot of cool photos that I need to pick the best of to post. When I had him read the poem, he wanted to know which picture I wanted to go with the poem. So, more Night Garden stuff up soon. :)

Na, we would welcome you at a show, with your firends!

Adriandalen, how very cool, and I am glad the whole family got into it with you! That's what it is sort of meant to do....Expand, grow, inspire...

So, what's this Night Garden with poetry in? I've been googling, and found a British programme...

Off to bed soon. Sorry that I do not have time to read comments. Six is gonna come early. :) I grew purple cauliflower this last year. Yum! Here is my favorite cauliflower gratin recipe.

Night all. My semester is over. Hurray for me!!!

At 9:44 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Na, by all means tell your friends to come and see us, they will have fun! Promise!

The Night Garden was an idea we had in that, art takes many forms, doesn't matter WHAT you do, and we had the idea that everyone could do what they did best, whatever form it took, on the theme of a Night Garden...

Which can be whatever you imagine it to be, no limits, no other direction. People write, stories, and poems, make pictures, jewals, songs, doesn't matter WHAT you do, just the theme is Night Garden...

The are all going on my new website, as soon as I GET my new website...sigh...Really want that.

At 10:00 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

oh dang, I didn't hit the email to button.

Na, look back in the blog archives around August of this year, I think. That's when it all started, or maybe September? I've slept since then. ;)

::sigh:: DD2, 5, is convinced that grownups shouldn't play, as in imaginary characters. Games are okay for grownups, but pretending to be someone/something else is for children. Mom and Dad are not to play Igor because we are not children, and it's much worse if we do so in public. And here I sit with a Theatre degree.

Off to bed am I. I have to be at the endodontist's at 8 AM for a proper filling.

Sweet dreams!

mmmmm food.

sorry for double posting... I posted this at the end of hte last thread and then realized that there was a whole new post so I am reposting my concert report here.

Dan, sorry to hear about the hiccups. I have always found the answer in stilling myself (like in yoga or tai chi) and concentrating on holding my stomach muscles while carefully and intentionally breathing slowly in and out. It's all about stomach muscle control for me.

As for the comments today: The zombies were so Macabre and Truly wierd.... I don't like shrimp and my cat doesn't like seafood... go figure.... glad to hear Kali/Kylie is settling in well.. and glad to hear about Queen Mab coming out and that the Pod shots are going well. I am sure it is an understatement to say that can't be fun, but the cat is lucky to have you.... Dread Val, yikes... that doesn't sound like fun... No Seafood for You.

Sorry I wasn't on here earlier for my concert report. The concert went really late for me (especially for a workday) and my friend, who had stayed over and helped me clean up the enormous crafting mess, only just left a little while ago.

On Wednesday I got home from work and my friend and I worked like mad to finish the game for Amanda. It came together and although we didn't get a chance to do a test run we think there aren't any real glitches (there may be a few rough spots that a good imagination can easily smooth over)... but it was a bit of a race to finish it on time. We were running behind schedule but we taxied downtown for the show, without properly getting ready... only to discover that we had a good wait before the openers even went on stage. Zoe Keating on the cello was AMAZING but my friend and I weren't really into the other opener, the Builders and Butchers.

Amanda came onstage after 10:30 or 11ish and did a Fantastic show. She is so vibrant and alive... (despite her death, you know)... the Danger Ensemble were incredibly emotive and did a great job, and they really enhanced the show. The venue had very limited seating but lots of standing and so we spent most of our time on the balcony craning over other people's shoulders to see the stage but the sound was great and I certainly enjoyed hte show. A really nice lady gave a stool to my friend and I who switched off sitting and standing on alternate songs during most of Amanda's set (it saved our feet). Amanda signed stuff after the show but there were a lot of people so we waited until it had cleared out a bit and then gave her the game. When we finally found a taxi it was after 1:40am and we got home around 2 in the morning.

Halfway through the show I realized that I had totally failed to photograph the board game (*bashful Kristina says oops, sorry*).

Now the funny part was that I hadn't checked in here before the concert so I didn't know that you, Lorraine, had mentioned it to her. We got in line (just before all the folks who were coming back for their 2nd or 3rd times through the line) and we both were pretty shy to approach her. When we got up there we said something like 'we, um, made a WKAP game for you' and she said 'oh, I heard about that from Lorraine!!' and totally surprised us. It was pretty funny actually. Here we were expecting to surprise her with this wierd thing we had spent all this time on (we expected it might be an odd gift and that we would look like wierd crazy fans) and she was expecting us and had already heard of it!! It really threw us off balance for a minute and then we were laughing about it and kind of babbly. I sure hope she likes it.

Sorry again about the lack of photos.

oh and the bit where Neil reads the cover story for WKAP at the beginning was fantastic. Please give him my sincere compliments. He elicited a LOT of cheering from the crowd whenever his name was mentioned. The reading REALLY set the tone for the concert well and it sent little shivers down my spine. Loved it.

Yay purple cauliflower! I was thrilled to discover that unlike purple beans, it stays purple. Purple snap beans turn green when cooked.

Jess, if I can find it in State College, I'm certain you can get it there. Mine comes from Wegman's, but they don't always have it (mostly late summer/fall).

Rubius, your game is brilliant, and it doesn't matter who came up with the first or last idea, it is just important that the ideas bounce further and further off each other. Thank you for sharing.

Purple cauliflower? What the hell makes it purple? Not that it isn't interesting.

Shrimp? You should see the size of the ones we have here :) And they're fresh (on Thursdays)

Rubious, so glad you had fun! I can't wait for the tour to be over, as I would love to talk about the show, but so much of that show is the wonder and surprise and I know people are still going...

I knew you would be really shy and saying something like "Oh, um..." So I just sent her your post which was witty, articulate and fun , hee-hee. It made her happy, which is always a good thing on tour. And seems to have broken the ice. Good.

Show tonight!!!!

Yes, though in the grand scheme of US Government spending my bunch get an infinitesimal amount of money, and we use it pretty wisely. Still, we shouldn't be wasting it on stupid (re)training. Nonetheless, I feel compelled to justify myself.))

Lessee now: Night Gardens, Amanda Fucking Palmer, cow racing, bloody sacrifices, cat noses, cheese, hiccup cures... Yep, this must be Lorraine's blog. I'm in the right place.

For curing hiccups I tend to get a small glass of water, sit down with it somewhere, and take eleven (and you must go up to eleven) slow sips. I count them, and I breathe, and the hiccups go away. Most of the time. Sometimes it's necessary to exceed eleven sips; eleven seems to be the requisite minimum, anyway.

Hooray Rubius! Hee hee! I love that you got a surprise. That's fab. :) Glad you had a great time, got to see Zoe Keating, and and got a stool! (What is it with all these chairless venues? How can they have theaters without chairs?) I want to talk about the show, too, but as Lorraine rightly says, the surprise factor is important.

I sympathise with the shy feelings re: approaching people, and going "um." I will probably be doing that with all of you come June, at least until someone hands me a drink. :D

(I like red wine. Just so you know.)

Lear and Mab sound like they're settling in well. How is Le Leopard? Growly as ever, I'm guessing. Has he come out at all?

na, good Fod! I forget where in the world you find yourself but -9 is,well...scary. That's inescapably cold.

At 2:46 PM , Blogger Rubius said...

-9 isn't that bad when it is in Celsius... but it's not quite that nice when you are measuring in Fahrenheit... Na is in Canada... thus she is using Celsius. Wish I had -9 weather... we had rainsnow this morning... not quite snow... not quite rain. We are back to rain now. I was hoping for a white blanket to wander through on my way home. No such luck.

btw... thanks for all the nice comments about the game.... and I will post pix of my glass beads when I have something photograhable to show. Currently the few beads I have made are fairly dark (purples and blues) so they will just look black in most photographs.

Fiend time is what makes me forget the cup of tea that is brewing until it is stewed and cold.
*sigh* No such thing as just 'popping in' to catch up on comments.

na - brrrr.

At 2:53 PM , Blogger Arwenn said...

Thank you Rubius! A conversion shows -9 celsius to be 15.8 Farenheit.

So Na, I'm right there with ya!! :)

At 2:55 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

We were -13 out here today early this morning, and that is the Fahrenheit one. COLD I tell you.

Now it is Plus 7.

I got my mink out today. Now only my head and hands freeze.

Very funny chatter today, snorted some tea I did!

At 3:01 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

Blimey, it is cold over there

Weather for Melbourne. We've had our wettest day for the year, which is excellent news for this drought ridden city. tring not to moan about muddy dog paws though.

At 3:04 PM , Blogger Arwenn said...

Sally, doesn't it seem like they develop at least eight paws each when it's raining?

At 3:09 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

At least that many Arwen. and they become wigglier than they ever have been too.

At 3:11 PM , Blogger Arwenn said...

Octopuppies!!

At 3:11 PM , Blogger Dread Val said...

-13?!

Oh Fod, I will freeze to death!

At 3:11 PM , Blogger Lexocat said...

Developing 8 paws/ea when raining is a skill related to the triple-rate shedding upon vacuuming.

At 3:13 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

Just rug up Val - the Michelin Man look has its merits. Octopuppies- that's it. God its hard to type with a cat betwixt me and the keyboard. Not very ergonomic!

At 3:13 PM , Blogger Beez said...

No you won't Val! The trick is to keep moving...or stay inside where the heat is.

At 3:13 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

Off for breakfast and to read a bit of the (wet) paper

At 3:14 PM , Blogger Lexocat said...

Sally, you've been to my house then and seen the forgotten cold cups of tea? ;)

At 3:30 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

I would die in such weather! I complain when it dips below 40...that's cold for here! Hubby skis and i tag along to sit by the fire in the warm condo w/ a book and tea and a movie for the kid-folk. No, no cold for moi.

Supposed to rain here this weekend which we desperately need as well. Hopefully it waits until at least saturday night, we're going to get our xmas tree tomorrow.

At 3:32 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

On DOES freeze, no trick at all to it.

I am off to my gig, hoping I will see some fiends down there, cold or no! I am ready for some ROCK!!!!!!!!

Chatter me nice things for my drive and break...

At 3:49 PM , Blogger Rubius said...

Safe driving Lorraine.

At 3:57 PM , Blogger Na said...

I am in Canada, but still thinking in American.
Sadly, it's a predicted high of -22 Celsius, which is -7.5 F, and locals keep telling us this doesn't count as "cold" yet. At least it'll be a couple degrees warmer than I first heard. ;)

At 4:01 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

well, would you look at that
wet

At 4:02 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

na...ugh!

At 4:09 PM , Blogger Lexocat said...

It doesn't count as cold? Erm, what does?

Wait, don't answer that. If you tell me I'll have to try to imagine it and that's just too awful to contemplate.

Sending the cozy thoughts your way, na.

At 4:32 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

No show for me tonight. Poop!

Rock on Ms Fab! VERY sorry to be missing it. No one to watch my M. Next time maybe. :)

At 4:41 PM , Blogger Na said...

Thanks for cozy thoughts. :) I do know what they think is "cold", and it is mind-boggling. The public transit buses stop running, literally. What we need here is tauntauns.

At 4:47 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

Ha, ha! Tauntaun, indeed!

At 5:00 PM , Blogger Na said...

My guy just went to the library, to check out a few movies to keep us all entertained this weekend. One that he brought back is "The Day After Tomorrow", and commented "More like 'The Day After Today'". Hrrm.

Gayle! (And any other BSG fans 'round here.) Do you know there are new BSG Webisodes up? I can't watch them from here, but hopefully they're up somewhere I can get to them.

At 5:13 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

I love that film, very appropriate watching it in the weather you're having.

At 5:14 PM , Blogger EmilyLady said...

What is cold here is probably somewhere in between cold and warm for most of the Fiends. Cold, for us, is about twenty-seven-ish degrees.

At 5:14 PM , Blogger EmilyLady said...

I didn't sign "Emily"; no one forgot my name, right?

At 5:24 PM , Blogger Na said...

I did like "Masked Fiend" for you Emily.

At 5:25 PM , Blogger EmilyLady said...

Masked Fiend was great, as was Eminent Emily.

At 5:45 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

I did not know about the new BSG webisodes. I will check that out when M is in bed. Thanks for that, Renata!

I did know that there are only a few weeks before the last episodes start to air. I am excited about that. :)

Jess, you are still the one taking Night Garden submission, right? The drawing I did for my final project in art class is no masterpiece but I want to take a photo of it and send it in. I was thinking Night Garden when I did it. I should have it back next week.

At 5:47 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

I like both options for a nick name for you Emily!

At 5:51 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

See, I can be nice. ;)

Anesthetic finally wore completely off. That's means I have a sore spot, but that's okay 'cause I can take 800 mg of ibuprofen every six hours. :)

Na, are the BSG Webisodes on SciFi.com? I haven't been there in a while, though SciFi channel has been showing sneak scenes during "Stargate: Atlantis" and "Sanctuary."

At 6:05 PM , Blogger AletaMay said...

I am at Qs gig. Lovely music. Not enough fiends tho. I carried on the grand tradition of falling flat on my face soon after arriving. :P. They are now getting going bout half hour late. Q told me to say that.

At 6:06 PM , Blogger EmilyLady said...

Must go brush teeth and snuggle under warm blankets now. William (seven) and I are both sick with colds and happy to be able to warm each other up with hugs.

Good-night, Fiends.

You know, Aleta, you've got to stop doing that. Bad for the knees. ::nodding sagely::

At least you're there! If they just started, are they on Doom Standard Time? ;)

Good Night Masked Fiend, sleep warm.
Aleta, you gotta look where your feet are. Actually, no, don't. Makes more fun for others!
Give Lorriane a big cheers for me

Hope the gig is going well. :)

At 7:28 PM , Blogger Jess said...

Rock their faces off, Q!

Gayle - If you send me Night Garden stuff, I will still make sure Quiche gets it; on top of that I'm keeping backup copies of everything anyone sends me, so nothing gets lost. So yes, send away! But do send Q. a copy, too.

Hurrah! I've missed all the Night Gardening. :)

Someone get that Masked Emily and William some soup, stat!

"Masked Emily and William" would be a good name for a magic act.

At 7:32 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

Well, Beez, I'm sorry that you are stuck at home but it's nice that he still wants his Mom. :)

At 7:36 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

I have another drawing that I really want to do for Night Garden but it is beyond my skill at this point. Maybe some day.

I'm sure the show is good fun and there is beer and rock enough for all!

At 7:38 PM , Blogger Beez said...

Aleta, I do too.

You know though Gayle, it is nice. The DVD's of Black Books came and we had popcorn and laughing and it's very cozy.

In between his coughing attacks :P

I've been working so much, so I haven't been home a lot when he's awake.

Q!! I hope it's Fabulous!

Oh, and ariandalen- that is a mad cackle.

Should we worry?

At 7:43 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

You know, Gayle, you could always start now, and with practice, you'll get there quicker than not.
Just sayin'. :)

At 7:44 PM , Blogger AletaMay said...

U 2 gaypet. Wish you were here 2!

At 7:44 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

Beez...

Don't worry, be happy!

At 7:45 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

Oh, Beez, that does sound nice. I love this time with M but am looking forward to sitting up late and watching movies with him. Without the cough would be fine.

Jess, when I get my drawing back I will send it in. :)

At 8:01 PM , Blogger gaypet said...

I wish I could stay in bed all day tomorrow. Not in the cards tho so, night all.

Aleta, I hope you take some pictures and share them!

Rock on!!

At 9:12 PM , Blogger Chantrelle said...

Hope the show is rocking beyond belief, i'm sure it is.

We spent the evening at ben's school xmas party. The kids were all in jammies watching the grinch and causing much nighttime playground mayhem. The adults were realizing no one brought enough wine :P It was fun though, it's a really good group of parents (for the most part!) There's always a couple of uptight ones but most are way groovy.

Neighbor boy is sleeping over. Hubby is reading them a star wars story now before bed.

At 11:12 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hello, fiends! The show did, in fact, rock.

I got there about 8.30 and the first set lasted something like two hours! I'm pretty amazed your arm didn't fall off, Ms. Fab.

Anyway, it was delightful. I'm looking forward to going to another show!
