Great News! The Hidden Variable site is now up and running. There's still some cyberdust in the corners, but it's looking good! We've added some SONG CLIPSto the site we know you'll love. Check it out! Chris has been working really hard on this album for years now. It is finally coming together. Kimberly Butler is now in the editing stage of our video, Kindermarchen by Gregory Maguire. We have a lot to celebrate this fall. My new fashion line, The Malena Collection will have some pieces for sale by Halloween!
This is a fun busy time for all of us. Listen to the songs and let us know which ones you like best. We love to hear your opinions.

Hey! Where is everybody? Freaky Kitties are cool, but this cd and video are going to be HOT!
And having seen the Malena Collection, I can tell you THAT is some hot.
I can't wait for the cd to come out. It's so different than anything I have ever done, and the songs themselves have lyrics from my own personal favourite authors. It is in the final stages of finishing and starting to go out to various record types, which is exciting and nervewracking at the same time.
The video is going to be magic. There is a lot you can say about Malena, she has many skills, but when that women gets in front of a camera, man oh man!!!! She is magic. I could have watched her work forever. I can't wait for you all to see it. Heck, -I- can't wait to seee it!
I was wondering where everyone was too... I love the Malena Collection. Just absolutely gorgeous. I keep listening to the song clips. Over and over. And the vid just makes me salivate in anticipation.
and I wouldn't say hot... I'd say HOTTER THAN HOT (HAUTER THAN HAUTE???) and incredibly COOL at the same time.

The clip page does tend to make my Flock browser crash but I really love the songs.
To answer you difficult question about favourites I think that today I'd have to select "Gibbons Girl" and "The Only Sure Thing Is Doubt". But that's today. Music is very much a mood thing and my tastes evolve a lot.
It's beautiful- moddy and dark. Very sultry voice there Malena.
Very sultry (steamy?) clothes too.
I went to Pirates of the Carribean at the El Capitan. It was a "rocky horror picture show" kind of set up where we all sang and talked back to the screen. They had a live pirate band. (I thought of Lorraine when I saw the violinist) It was great fun. ABC was there and they liked my outfit. My hat was so big you couldn't see my face on TV. hee hee (fashionista issues)
Ok, so what's the story about the statue in that photo? Where was the pic taken? And what's the butterfly on the statue's face?
(The little speckled fellow is a Hamadryas februa from South America - is the other a Caligo memnon - owl butterfly - maybe..?)
