Cool... lots of photos please!
We can't go to the Dead Ball after all :( (my parents have guests) but maybe I'll dress up anyway. I've just bought the coolest black feathered mask, and I want some excuse to wear it, even if it's just around the house... we could have our own mini-party.
(Did I tell you my boyfriend moved up here? Last weekend. I'm very happy.)
Absolutely not a clue! He doesn't have any costumey stuff with him whatsoever, so I imagine we would have to improvise.
I don't expect ever to get him in a kilt, as he's English and also thinks he has (I quote) "silly legs". (Rubbish. He'd look great. But since he has no Scottish blood, it's his call.) My brother kilts up very nicely, but keeps it for ceilidhs and weddings. He's under orders to wear it at mine!
You are very noble doing all this tecchie stuff for our benefit - I hope the webcam works!
I am fortunate to know men who wear utili-kilts (canvas work kilts as opposed to traditional plaids)and work belts. I like men who are tool users ;)

k - i'd like to see photos of you in that mask! And... tell me if the rattie has arrived yet please :-)
Lorraine - i just got the CD today, love it! (Marylin had me nearly screaming with laughter!). Question though, some of the tracks seem to not be in the order they are listed in on the back, have you noticed this, or did i get a "special" copy, LOL
Also, i'm interested in the webcam/IM thing. Email me, i might be able to help (i'm not sure but i can try :-)
Hope the webcam/im thing can be pulled off, tho I'm not much help in that area! Got the cd and have played it thru a bunch - really enjoy it, and it will inspire my class on monday to make wonderful masks, along with the folk underground cd. Good music and chocolate should help them reach new creative heights! Lots of photos to be jealous by please and have fun!

Shh we won't tell if you won't
He heeeeee
We will be on the webcam Halloween night. More details soon. My Yahoo IM name is: therealmalena
Funny, someone already took MalenaTeves. Weird huh? I can imagine some old guy in a wig wearing tight pantyhose and a corset typing away at 1 am. And that's a nice thought to leave you with.
BWAHHHHHHHHHH! Oh my i can almost see that, is that bad? **snicker**
i have a yahoo IM nick...... (i had to remember it) ravynluna. i don't have many contacts on YIM so i'm not usually there, heh.
i can almost *always* be found on AIM, DAravyn27, if email isn't fast enough **grin**
Well, ravyn, if you got a "special" CD, I did, too. I popped mine right into the car stereo out of the mailbox, and the first song that came on was "The Fox." It did come up as track 2, and I don't think I accidentally hit the Search button as I put it in. "Dark Sonnet" DID come on (as track 1) after everything else had played. I just put it in my home stereo and figured out that "Personal Thing" and "Let the Rest of the World Go By" are flipped in order going by the cover and notes.
My two year old had a sly grin on her face during "Tango till They're Sore." My four year old said, "That's a song about a dream and not going back," while "Butterfly Road (The Faust Song)" was playing.
