We're having a Party!

Obviously, tomorrow is The Party! Obviously, I am not exactly sure how things are going to work. That is for Dr Wicked to know and for us to find out. He did say this:

"Tell people to go to and sign up for an account in advance so we will know who they are when they watch the show and chat tomorrow."

I do know we go live at 7:30 Friday the 13th. That is tomorrow. Unless you are reading this today. Show time us USA Central time zone and will run for 4 hours, with two breaks.

We are going to be putting the finishing touches on the new website tomorrow afternoon. Dr wicked says the show will run there and here, with directions for the confused. Me being one of them, tho all I have to do is rock for you.

It will not be hard. Promise. Show up. And rock with us.

The Birdchick has the Bee Post up! Go give her some love!

I am starting to get really excited, but I am not sure I can feel it is real, playing for you all, the new site and everything. I think it will hit me when we go live. I know I will be wearing my Coraline Dunks, and hopefully will remember I need more to my outfit than that. Otherwise it will be a WHOLE lot more how than you signed up for!

I am planning to post updates as I get them tomorrow. Check back for them.

Did I tell you the URL of the new site yet? If you haven't guessed, it's:

Love and a Party,

Congratulations, Ticia.

grrrr typical of my day. At least I didn't delete a state, like some other people did who will remain nameless (sarah).

Oh, I just realized I can stream it to our HDTV!! Oh, this is going to be fun!!!

At 7:59 PM , Blogger Ticia said...

It was actually more luck than anything. I just stumbled here while wading through my in box.

I am looking forward to your gig tomorrow night. And, I will have chocolate cake to celebrate.

I will have chocolate cake because we are celebrating my birthday at work tomorrow. wOOt wOOt. My birthday isn't til Monday, but no one will be at work Monday.

Which reminds me. No work on Monday. You're welcome.

At 8:04 PM , Blogger Ticia said...

Sorry Siri.... If it's any consolation, I cheated. You are #1 in reality.

Has she-who-won't-be-named (Phiala) confirmed the re-in-stating (hshaha) of New York yet?

At 8:04 PM , Blogger Stacy said...

logged in and ready for some ROCK! do we know the name of the show or do we get that tomorrow?

At 8:06 PM , Blogger Stacy said...

The site looks awesome just waiting for her royal purpleness with those tantalizing red velvet curtains! squeeeee; so excited.

At 8:08 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

Hey, she restored that state.
I think.

Oh, I am so lucky. I'll be going to DD1's class Valentine party tomorrow afternoon. I made pink chocolate chip cookies for the party. They taste strongly of red food coloring. DD1 had one earlier tonight, and was delighted with the added taste of the food coloring. Hopefully, this will be true for the rest of her class. X)

I have found that reality is highly overrated - it's the virtual stuff that matters most!

Off to bed. Must get my rest before tomorrow. If the snow holds off, I get to go to 2, count 'em 2, visitations tomorrow night. Two little old ladies who died days apart, but their visitations are at the same funeral home at the same time. Cuts down the travel time for me. After that, I will be ready to rock the new site all over the place.

That was the site the last time. Good luck all.

And to all a good night.

Red food dye #40!!!

This was a battlecry from my childhood.

Now that I think about it, I don't know why it was a battlecry.... Something about the food dye making us hyper, I think.

At 8:31 PM , Blogger Dragonsally said...

yah, new site and signed up ready for the show.
DG...lucky you. I have to watch on my little old laptop. Not to worry, big laptop will be fixed on Monday.

At 8:40 PM , Blogger Jess said...

OKay, I'm all signed up on the thing. That took too long. Graah.

Yay website! Like the coming-soon curtain. :)

Yay party!

Yay birthday!

Now bed. No more brain for to do the thinking which makes the words and the typing. Yerg. Blorb. Mrm.

At 8:59 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

I find that any witticisms have left my brain.

::flap, flap, flap, flap, flap::

Yep. There they go.
I think I need to chew a couple of antacids and go to bed.

May be late to the party tomorrow night, but I shall be there!

At 9:11 PM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Ok. I am officially going bonkers. I thought I had gone on and commented an hour ago, and apparently did not.

Talked long with Dr Wicked about the site. We have much work to do and are going to do much caffine tomorrow.

Show should rock.

Still have to write one more bit. Pics are a problem since I lost most of mine, but Kitty sent some and we will make do and update as we get more.

My brain is spining.

Maybe sleep now. Send Boss to Dublin early, THEN think abut tomorrow.

You can watch me on big screen tv??? Who said that????? Oh Fods, the world is not ready.

And the name of the show is "Pul and Lorraine with Special Guests, Lojo Russo and Dylan Hatch.

Music will rock.

At 9:11 PM , Blogger ariandalen said...

You mean we won't get to play...
The Queen Empress' New Clothes?

Oh, well. Maybe not. It is still cold in Minnesota.

Off to bed for me.

At 9:34 PM , Blogger ivenotime said...

Evening-morning, all. I've got the new url bookmarked - lovely crimson curtain, there, Dr. Wicked. Will sign up for ustream tomorrow, when my brain is fresher and spicier.

Here's wishing you a delightful birthday weekend, Ms Fabulous!

At 10:23 PM , Blogger Na said...

Ticia! I think Red Dye #4 or #40 was something causing people serious illnesses or somesuch. No red candy-covered chocolates for years. Battle cry -- "Here's some candy! Eat it, so we can crush you like leetel wurms!!"

Turning in now. 'Night all.

At 10:25 PM , Blogger spacedlaw said...

07:30. so that's seven hours more my end, meaning that you start at 02:30 (on the 14th) and finish at 06:30. Perfect. I should be able to catch the last hour (hour and a half) or so. Then go out and go the market directly afterwards.

I think you must have mentioned the name of the new site before becaue I already have it bookmarked!

Gig - as Nat-Law says, it's early hours of the morning for us here - will any of it be recoreded to so we can watch later? I shall have to get up early on Sunday to go to Dublin so need my sleep tonight! But I shall be having cake in any event.

Sally - you acheived snortage, with your LOLCat ;-)

Ticky box...

Q - have you warned Boss that there will be Fiends in Dublin?

Techie comment:

Love the WHOIS information for ;)

At 2:33 AM , Blogger Dan Guy said...

I forgot that I did that, Martyn.

Looking forward to the concert tonight!

(Though I have to confess that I will be watching the premier of the new Joss Whedon show, Dollhouse, as well from 9-10pm Eastern. Multitasking! Err, multi-fan-squee-ing?)

At 2:35 AM , Blogger Dan Guy said...

Will there be an online tip jar? Everyone should sign up for Paypal if they haven't already so we can pool our money and get the Unicorn Song. (tee-hee)

At 3:56 AM , Blogger Phiala said...

And speaking of PayPal, is there going to be a Fiend physically present at the gig who has a PayPal account and would be willing to accept donation's for Charlies (if received by a reasonable hour)? That way we could give them some money for tonight, rather than having it trickle in.

Don't worry about New York, it will all be okay. I left the nano-assemblers running overnight, and everything should be back and better than new by lunchtime.

Except for the airplane, but that really wasn't my fault. :(

At 4:49 AM , Blogger Marjorie said...

Phiala - What a good idea (paypal) I thought if that when I was brushing my teeth last night, then forgot all about it again!

At 6:11 AM , Blogger EmilyLady said...

Truly awesome. Wish I could be there. But that's okay, it looks like I may very well be in MN in June. Haappy Friday the Thirteenth, Fiends!

At 6:49 AM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Martyn, WHAT???? Speak to me in non-techie!

Danguy, you guys can't AFFORD the Unicorn song! I am not embarrassing myself all over the world!

Morning. It's today isn't it????

Stupid Bengals. Crazed Fiends in the night. Woke me way too early. They blitz me. Mim goes UNDER the cover and Venus on top then they battle it out, and the fact that I scream and thrash and flail only ADDS to the game.

At 6:55 AM , Blogger Phiala said...

Morning, Q! *offers a cup of tea*

Yes, it is today. Everywhere, it is today. Even though from my perspective some places could be tomorrow. Or yesterday.

But I'm not helping, am I?

In Pennsylvania:
Wednesday - record-setting 64F temperatures.
Thursday - 50 mile an hour winds. All day.
Friday - snow.

I'm confused.

In other news, I'm putting the last final touches on New York - polishing off the sprue marks and such. (You'd think the nanobots wouldn't need sprues, but you'd be wrong.) Definitely done in time for lunch.

At 7:05 AM , Blogger TommyB said...

Ok Q- what do we have to do to get the Unicorn song into the set? What is it going to take! Come on- work with us here!

At 7:17 AM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Good news, Dublin seems fine. We'll know for sure in about 2 hours, but it looks, as of last night that all will be well.

TommyB...For me to do the Unicorn Song live all over the world???? Shudder.

To do the Unicorn song live would RUIN any credibility as a musician I ever had.

I would Embarrass myself forever.

Hang on. I'll be right back.

At 7:24 AM , Blogger Dan Guy said...

She doesn't dare name a price lest we meet it!

At 7:28 AM , Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

I dared.

New post is up.

At 7:30 AM , Blogger Marjorie said...

Dublin seems fine ....? I must have missed something, I didn't realise Dublin was at risk (except maybe from Phiala)

I am now officially intrigued about this Unicorn song of which you speak.

I have (temporarily at least) dominated the stabby-inducing pan & submission so will be feeling in a proper party mood, whether or not I manage to see any of the party ;-))

At 7:50 AM , Blogger dabbler said...

Surfacing from sickness. laughing at yesterday's comments...

Lorraine, do you do the Unicorn song with hand motions??? Haven't see that in about 20 years. The very mention gets it stuck in my head, though, so I might not contribute.

White chili in crock pot, off to buy green wigs and antennae. See you at the (virtual) show.

At 7:50 AM , Blogger dabbler said...

Clickety, tickety boxen

At 7:57 AM , Blogger vampi said...

there were green alligators and long-necked geese...

At 6:46 AM , Blogger Starshadow said...

oooh! I created an account on so I could put the live cam of found-animals on my feed...shelter puppies and kitties live, what's not to love?

The possibility that I can catch The Party makes me happy I have that account now. Though with the vagaries of time zones, I might have missed it altogether. Still...someday I'll get there!
