Off she goes....
Well, Lorraine is on the plane and I am AWAKE! Sometimes being a "creature of the night" is not fun. Like when the world starts moving at 6 am, which is just about when I get tired. It feels like noon to me right now, although I've been up since 10 am and went to bed at 4 am last night. Lorraine bought me a gorgeous coffin with bats engraved on the inside. It's one of the nicest in my collection. (I need a bigger house, or better yet a cave!) Believe it or not, coffins are quite comfy. Who knows why they make them so sleepable, but they do. Mr. Gaiman and I learned about that on 13 Nights. That wasn't my first time in a coffin, but (sh!) we won't tell anyone.
Annnnnd back to normal things...The event went well. It was sooooooo good to meet everyone. Especially Val, aka Panta....She is one beautiful soul, inside and out. Thanks for driving up here and picking up Lorraine and coming to my little party. I really appreciated everything, my beautiful witchy Poo. AND, Hail Cesar! ( the myspace guru of the Neil Gaiman fan site). He and his lovely femal friend, whose name I shamefully can't recall, came by to say hello. We loved seeing you. Here's a few photos of us.
David is working on downloading all his 500 + photos this week, as is Kitty. She took a HOT to trot photo of Lorraine with her Neverwear shirts. Kitty is a HUGELY talented woman. I wouldn't have a jewelry collection if it wasn't for her. Soon you will see all the new designs.
I also wanted to let everyone know how sorry I am that I often lose your requests for photos and signed things in the fast pace of what is my LIFE. No one can understand how hurried The Entertainment World is unless you are in it. (And my life looks like life on the farm compared to Lorraine's Boss) My sister (not kitty, but Margarette) has vowed to NEVER come to LA when I am about to film something due to my MOVE MOVE MOVE! state of mind and how fast paced things are. So, I'm sorry that a few requests have gotten lost in the shuffle of things. EMAIL ME AGAIN and remind me!!! I always mean to send them, I do! You know I love you all to pieces!
Now, I am going to concoct a plan for sleeping at night, like humans do.
Love and coffins

I can't wait to see the pictures.
Aww, you are so sweet to say so. You're absolutely stunning! And you're very welcome; I was happy to help. It was lovely to meet you and get to hang out a bit. Such good energy! (Though… 'witchy Poo'?! Witchy Poo was a villain, dude!)
I'll email you about designs and whatnot. We shouldn't wait until you have a big Event to hang out again. :)
I can't wait to see the photos David took, even if I am in need of remedial posing lessons. :)
Glad everyone had a wonderful time! :)
I suppose I can be patient and wait for pictures and new merchandise to show up online. I mean, really, I have to anyway. ;)
Resetting your natural internal clock is difficult, but it can be done. If you had asked me 10-15 years ago if I would be getting up at 6:00 AM to walk a mile I would have probably laughed at you, but I'm doing it. Granted, I often take a 1-2 hour nap during the day, but that's only if I don't keep moving. My daughters are also up by 7:00 AM this time of year anyway. Of course, their bedtime is 8:00 PM, so they are getting plenty of sleep.
when filming starts, I am up at 5 am. you are right, it can be done. All it takes is getting up and staying up for two days before hand.
Witchy Poo was meant in a loving way. Didn't know she was a villain, although some villains are really good guys. (go see WANTED) hee hee
I'll go call David the magician and see what's going on. Trust me, even I can pose badly. You just NEVER see those photos or we would all be laughing together.
Alright, well if Witchy Poo was meant lovingly as the villain-who-is-secretly-good, I then love it. ;)
It would be awesome to have Remedial Posing 101 with you and David teaching. ;) Seriously!
this photo of me is awful, Quiche, do you agree? you are always the honest voice.
Malena said she would change it for me, but maybe she was kidding.
Maybe there should be a photo of ME!!!!!!
I had such wonderful fun, and don't mind being called Witchy Poo,....
I am so tire, no sleep, more in the way of proper talk tomorrow....
I don't even mind that I am not me now...
Get some well-earned sleep, Lorraine!
I am Not Painting, Not Writing, and especially Not Packing. I want to just faff about and drink gin & tonics, for some reason... did you have an especially trying day at the airport or something?
A coffin? Cool! You need a CRYPT.
It would look great in your garden (and it beats the stuffing out of mere ordinary swimming pools).
What a GREAT gift for a spiffy Vampire like you.
Glad to hear you made it there and home again Lorraine.
I think I may be caught up on sleep, finally!
Out in LA we were staying up until 3-5 and of course I wake up really early, so I didn't get much in the way of sleep, sure did have fun tho!!!!!!!
Ended up seeing Wanted TWICE while I was out there actually, which is more movie going than I have had all year. Tho I did fall asleep during the second one....Wasn't because the movie lacked action tho.
Today I have my first SOLO Beekeeping mission, the Boss being gone and the Birdchick not here as well. Expect a Blog later with full details, and wish me luck!
(I will have the Dog with me, so I am sure that will help...)
Good luck with the bees.
1) More photos please! :D
2) Sleep at night is overrated... So is sleep during the day. (says the woman who is only just starting to get enough sleep at all)
3) It's not that bad a photo of you, Kitty - though honestly, I've seen much better. The photographers are usually the hardest to photograph (or at least say the few I've worked with).
4) Looking forward to the Beeing report, FabLo!
I am eager to see the pictures! It sounds like it must have been so much fun!

Kitty says she is sending photos as soon as she gets back from an airport run! They'll be up tonight!
Ok, to get even with Malena for that photo of me, i am DRAWING a photo of us last night at the HELLBOY2 screening, which by the way BLEW ME AWAY!
They took our cameras away at the door, so i will have to just give sketching a go, i am going to illustrate us meeting Guillermo del Toro.
Malena will not be airbrushing this one, i can tell you.
and Yes, I do have a great photo of Quiche, but i am holding it hostage, while she beekeeps solo,
and will reward her with it, if she lives through the experience.
MUHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ps I just put Drew on the plane, so the kinder, gentler me is GONE too. *insert evil laughing here!
I didn't think the kinder gentler you would last long after Mr Drew left.....
And hey! I survived the Bees! It was easy, and I added two supers to your hive! (that means you get honey soon!)
Send me my pictures, evil Kitty! I can't do a blog without them and I am all ready!!!!!!!
Cant wait to see this drawing!
Oh so much excitement! Great photos. The event sounds so wonderful. I am really looking forward to getting my Malena products!
Lorraine -- it looks like a few of us will be joining you on the 4th at Charlie's! Wee!
I went through a fast food drive through for lunch today. (I know, but it was the sort of day I was having.) ANYWAY... there were some flowering bushes by the side of the building and as I waited in line I was entranced by a busy bee working away on the flowers. Of course I became lost in thoughts of all Lorraine and her beekeeping buddies.
I look forward to the bee report. I love how you all have opened up this corner of the world to me.
Yes, let's see the drawing! I am all for sketching.
Oh, awesome, there is a bomb threat at LAX. Kitty, I hope you are not stuck in it!
Excellent about the 4th!
(THAT gig is real, hee-he, only just the Friday, not Saturday)
There will be fireworks afterwards, on the river. Only the best for people who come see Paula and Lorraine!
You do really want some Malena products! I got to play with them this week and they are wonderful!
I think I will be there on the 4th too. Fun! I will bring my son so I don't know how late we will stay but hopefully we will get to see some fireworks. Can anyone recommend a cheap place to stay in Stillwater? I will probably drive home but thought it might be more fun to be able to walk to a room.
Looking forward to more pictures of the weekend. And I am very glad the bee keeping went well!
I look forward to meeting Paula! ;-)
I ordered some Malena products on the web site about a week ago. I am excited to get them -- jewelry and body mist. Wee.
Gaypet I look forward to meeting you on the fourth. I am not sure about cheap places to stay around Stillwater, especially this time of year.
How old is your son? I was going to try to get my godchild (almost 12) and her mother to come out but they had already made other plans. She takes Irish dance so I want her to have the chance to hear Lorraine play one of her lovely jigs on that fiddle!
The 4th is an early show, remember, 6 to 10, so people can go see fireworks!
I don't know about cheap in Stillwater, maybe up in Hudson? The Waterstreet Inn isn't cheap, but well worth it, if you want to splurge.
Malena is forgiven, she swapped out photos,
but sketch of doom still coming.
