As I sit here in LA, our own Ms. Kitty is selling Neverwear goods at BALTICON!! We were there last year and had a blast.

I think that may have truly been my favorite concert ever. It made me feel so wonderful, everyone was so beyond nice to us. I felt SO loved.
Can't believe it was a year ago....
Even Malena being so sick with a cold and losing her voice, could not keep us down. Of course, even sick her voice is better than anyone else on the planets...
ach... hate to tell you L, but it was two years ago, not one.
It was the best Con EVER and I had more fun than a human body should be able to contain in a weekend. The concert was brilliant!!! I loved every moment of it and the Goddess Party afterwards. You played so well and Malena sang her heart out, doing a fantastic job despite the cold... and the weekend was magic, Pure Magic. Thank you both for that.
I would wish I could go back, but the magic wouldn't be there without you both... and no one can go back, so we all move forward... and I hope that one day there will be another LaM concert, another moment just a magnificently magical as Balticon proved to be.
btw... I wore the LaM tshirt that I bought at Baltimore today and ended up mentioning you twice today, to some friends and a former professor that I randomly ran into on the same block... happily being able to point to my chest while describing you. lol
and I see that some of those pix were mine... I probably have a few more I could send you.
What great pictures. I very much hope to attend one of your concerts someday. But for now I just really look forward to hearing your music!

::sigh:: I have to agree with Rubius. It's been two and a half years since "Mirror, Mirror" came out, which means you two were at Balticon two years ago.

It would be SO great to do another concert! It's hard when time and distance keep us apart, we would SO love to play some more...And are ready to.
We do have an album, and a video in the can, as they say, and are only waiting for a few things t get final before you get to have them in your hot little hands,promise!
Malena seems to have done the blog here quite nicely tonight, so I have done one over at www.paulandlorraine.com as we have some rather nice news to report....
ohhhhhhhh time does fly my sweets. You are right. Maybe next year. Lorraine is going to take over our CON schedule. I am not so good at such things. But SHE ohhhhh SHE IS A FORCE. Like I am to bad guys...on the full moon...who really have it coming. Ha haaaaaa!

I am taking over our Con schedule, and it's, hmmm...Fairly open right now.....First come first served...
We love playing at Cons because of the people. Cons are the place to meet the people we love the best. It would be hard for us to tour with my gig schedule and day job, and Malenas shooting schedule, and we don't live near enough to gig on a regular basis.
But traveling for a weekend to play for people, THAT is some fun!

two years already, and that was a fun, fun time! The goddess party was great, ahhh memories..it would be great to get everyone together again.
No, we've done other shows, we played Convergence in MInneapolis, and who ever I am gigging with has backed up Malena and I whenever she is in town.
I remember a REALLY fun one with the Tim Malloys at Kierrans in MInneapolis. I still have a picture of Malena a la black corset, on stage, with Adam , in my fiddle case.
That was such a wonderful Con! I was only there for a day, so I missed the greatest concert ever, but still had a lovely time. This just means we need to have another Con and have and even BETTER time. Yes, please!!??!!
Oh, yes, the next one will be something...

We are fine tho we had a few fine moments of Weather..It all went north of us, the tornados anyway. Bunch of branches, lots of wind and rain, but nothing serious.
Have lots to tell you, saw the best movie ever tonight, the cat wheel is here, (Venus thinks it sucks, as does anything new, but Mim is a Wheel Demon!) but I am too tired to actually write, but I will in the morning, promise!

Glad to hear the storms passed you by, and hope there is some better news with Olga! Hera, hope your voice is feeling better. Cat wheel! I wonder how fast they can get it to go? Hope all of them enjoy it more than crawling up your curtains. we are getting the remnants of the storms today (we always get your leftovers :), muggy and cloudy, sticky and warm, perfect for lawnwork...not.
You could use the cat wheel to power some batteries for your house...
If I could use the cat wheel to power my CAMERA batteries I would be in good shape! Mim goes FAST!

It was so much fun meeting you Glen, and Danth and Sue and Kitty and all the other LaMies at Balticon 40... ye Gods it was fun.
