Amongst feathers, rhinestones, fishnet and leather....is a mooumu clad Malena scurrying to get the last bit of merch done. I shipped 30 pounds of LaMie glam to Baltimore yesterday. I'ts been so fun making all of this for you. Kitty and I have infused all of our gifts with Magic and loving energy. I even bottled up some of my oldest potions. It will be a witchy fun time for sure! (she says in her LA girl accent) We'll be taking LOADS of photos for our fans who can't come. I'll be sure to get the goodies posted on our new SHOPPING site. (Thanks to Danth-the webmanth) We love him! Here's a photo of the back of Lorraine's jacket I made her. She'll be stylin' honey! And to think it started as a man's western shirt. Hmmm. I had to Malenafy it. hee hee
There is talk of a live webcam LaMie conference. Nora is doing her best to make that happen. We're also planning to upload the concert footage to the website. (That might take a while) But, it will be COOL! Here's the schedule again if you need it.

i would like to add, anyone who like to help Laura and i get the room ready for the party, just let us know. We'll be sprinting from the concert to get ready for the party, heh, it should be lots of fun :-)
And something else too. Since Danth is bringing his DDR dance pads to the convention, i can "appropriate" a function room after hours so we can have a little late-night DDR fun. Maybe late late.... like after Malena's Magic panel Saturday night? Who needs sleep anyways......

oops i forgot to mention one other thing, the Pocket Program is available for download on the Balticon web site. It is a PDF file, about 600K, and it has the complete schedule inside. Go get it and plan the weekend, heh.

ps- You said that there's already going to be DDR in the game room, right? I brought the pads but not a computer / software / songpacks or playstation / game. So if either isn't going to be there already, then we'll need a computer and broadband.

There is DDR in the video game room, but it won't be available all the time. If we can get it running on a laptop we can have it to ourselves. Laura and i are checking into the hotel on Thursday afternoon, so if you have a chance, get in touch with me on Wednesday. It'll be great!
I finally got some black lace stockings to wear as a shirt. Unfortunately, even these size smalls are larger in diameter than my arms, so they're all loose. This displeases me.
They're 100% nylon. Is there some way to shrink them using only everyday hotel items? Can I soak them in hot water or something?
oh Dan, I don't think nylon will shrink - it would need to be cotton or wool for that, hmmm do you have a sewing machine? You could run a seam down the inside of your arm, depending on how fragile these are.
Danth - see if you don't have one of those travel sewing kits in your hotel room. I've basted pant legs for friends with those, I'm sure I can take in the hose enough to get by on for Balticon. A serger would be better and more permanent, but there's probably not many of those floating around the 'con (or maybe I'm wrong about that!)

Hi there! I just got back from Balticon and had a blast meeting everyone! Malena taught a great class on magic(k) which was well worth staying up late for. It was fab hanging with Lorraine, Dan Guy and Glenn outside the almost-Goth Makeover.
The Goddess party was awesome - it was great meeting Rubius there. Kitty Cat was lovely (thanks for taking that picture!).
I look forward to getting to know you all better here on the blog. Hope you all got home safely.
I will never read the comments threads here the same way again having met so many of you.
Hopefully Glen will start coming by to visit!
