oh hoo Witchy Woman
Hey LaMies! I've been making soap tonight. I took some photos of it while it was hot and it turned out looking like molten metal...BEAUTIFUL! I might use that photo for a background or something. (Psst! Lorraine's Bday is on the 15th. These are the stocking stuffers so to speak.)So here's before:
And here's after:
I've been in the mood to create lately..BIG surprise there. Kitty sent me a script that I just LOVE!!! Can I tell them about the movie yet Miss Meow?
I wish I could read, play the violin, sew, design, act and sing ALL at the same time! I can't be the only one who feels like time is speeding up. I guess that happens when you get older. Oh well, I'd rather be wise than young any day.
Lorraine taught me to play the beginning of "Norwegian Dance of Hungary" and the lead break for "Sonnet in the Dark" while she was here. Wehooo I'm a "fiddling" fool. Looking forward to playing more.
Got the Academy Award ballot the other day. Hmmm how should I vote? Not that it really matters, but it's fun and so Hollywood.
We're going to be giving away a LaM basket of goodies very soon. More details on that later. (Gotta consult with my other band half) A little perfume and smelly stuff couldn't hurt, right?

The soap looks awesome!
Whew! A bit of a surprise to the eyes, refreshing the blog this morning, hehe! Aww, i miss the little avatars on the main comments page!
i know exactly what you mean by the urge to create. i've had it for weeks now, and it's got me sculpting and painting when i can spare a few minutes. i also have sewing projects (Balticon costumes among them!) patiently waiting for me, but i'm still pretty busy with work....
The site looks awesome - wow what a surprise! And the soap is lovely. It must be a creative winter - I've been working like a mad fool getting ready for a show at the end of the month which I'm excited, nervous, ummm really really nervous about. gah - wish me luck. It's also Beezee's bday this month!!! Here's to wisdom!!
love love lurrve the soap!
The picture of the molten soap reminded me of a heart. Okay, so not a human heart, but maybe a Klingon? In any case, cool! The bar of soap is neat! Soapmaking is not something I've done any of, at least not yet. Maybe after the girls are older.
My girls helped me make Brigid's Crosses last Monday. We made them out of paper twist rather than rushes since we don't have any rushes, green or otherwise, to go harvest around here. Then yesterday the oldest decided she needed a new crown, followed by the youngest going "Me, too!" So they now have foam crowns with plastic jewels on them, though we may not be finished decorating them.
I too saw a bloody heart at first glance.
I thought of a heart too. That's why I took the photo. He hee
oh please! can i see the ballot, pretty please!!

as for script, hmmm, i leave it to the most psychic medium i've ever met to make decision on what to tell & what not to.
