Hot Gigs and Cold Nights

Quick little note since I seem to be still awake and Ellen seems to be on in a few minutes, she's great for winding down after a show. The show tonight was HOT. Johnny from the Malloys showed up and was easily talked Into coming up and doing a few songs, which turned into the rest of the night. I got one 20 minute break in four hours! But the crowd loved it and I loved it. We did an amazing version of U2's Running to Stand Still , one of the greatest songs ever written, in my humble opinion.

Now OUTSIDE was NOT hot. According to Prius, it was ONE. For those of you in warmer climes, that is really cold. I told Miss Kitty, who is coming to visit me, delightful thing that, to bring everything she owns and I would loan her the rest. I have arranged a snowstorm for her too, day if arrival. Good aren't I??

She is also going to bring me some PANTS, which I need badly. I got to wear my cool gothy pants to the show, but even they are falling down, if I may brag a little!

Not much else tonight, I listen to the BBC on the way home from shows, as I can't listen to music after playing all night. If anyone needs to know anything about Diseases of the Brazil Nut ( which I am sure is an important thing to people somewhere ) just ask. Half an hour of the Brazil Nut.

I may be nuts! Ellen is on, as is my fire. Hope you are all warm.

'Night,
Lorraine

go go go ladies go! 2007 looks like it will be a mighty small year! I am working on better eating habits and god forbid to take a vitamin now and again. I have pill phobia, which is ridiculous as most of us need a supplement. Have a good weekend all!

Our magical Lorraine did arrange for a snowstorm as she fetched me at an ungodly hour in the morning straight off the red eye. I have such true friendships with the L'aM ladies... To top it off, she stopped at Caribou coffee for me & we drove home in the sparkling snowfall.
No, wait, to really top it off, she plunked me into her new hot tub at House, while it snowed and 2 piliated woodpeckers enjoyed a tasty bug dinner out of her backyard trees.
The progress made on House is amazing, and the signs of Malena's medium cool touch are evident as well.
And yes, miss FabLo is shrinking away.
ok, me to sleep. so good to be here...

Go, Lorraine! Go, Beezee!
Go, Lorraine! Go, Beezee!

And, yes, Ms. Fabulous, 1 degree Fahrenheit is COLD. Glad I'm in Texas. ;) Though, the weatherman did say that temperatures here last week were 25 degrees below normal. We had an ice storm. First one in several years. At least we never lost power for more than a few seconds. The upside, we've gotten MUCH needed rain.

Stay warm, and have fun!
