All About Music

I noticed today that some people in other jourals seem to think all we are about now is Girls in Corsets and have forgotten our musicial roots! I can't believe it? Corsets??? ( personally I think they are just jealous they have no endorsement deals. Hmmph )Well, in this post Corsets will not even be mentioned, it is ALL going to be about music and my diet and workout program. No Corsets!!!! We are serious artists here!

Music. Yes. I picked up a show with Folk UnderGround at a small pub in Stillwater. If you are in the area this Saturday night and want to come by for a pint, drop me a note and I will get details. Also all next week at the Half Time Rec , Wednesday thru Saturday, with Malena on Saturday the 6th. ( Since this post is NOT about Corsets, I will not tell you what she will be wearing. Not me. )

She comes out on Saturday and we are spending a week practicing and doing the last little bits of her on the cd, and maybe starting my fiddle parts, hurrah!

I hired a Personal Trainer today, which in my part of the country is not as Ritzy as it sounds, and he will be helping me with this Get Into You Know What by Halloween. Today I did my walks and listened to Malena sing in my headphones.

Which is a nice way to work out. Indeed.

Love , Music and .......
Lorraine

Yeah, I saw that. You have a cheeky boss :) Mind you, I could do with an endorsement deal myself. I was looking at a corset which isn't nearly as nice as any of yours the other day, and it was £44.50. (I might have been able to justify that if I had anything special to wear it to.)

You are, totally, evil for pointing out the possibility of custom Miss Mousie creations. But I love you anyway. Actually I've had a further poke around there and have seen another one I like which would fit me (I think). I suspect I'll succumb sooner or later... maybe after I get paid...

Ravyn - not going to Worldcon, alas (see above financial reasons). But if you are going to include Edinburgh in your sightseeing, and would like any gen of any kind, or to meet, you could e-mail me at kirsten(dot)donaldson(at)gmx(dot)net. I'm on holiday next week and not doing anything special...

Hi, I followed a link from Mr. Gaiman's journal over here, and with your permission, I'll add this to my "monitored journals" bookmarks.

Those clothes from the past few entries...::looks down at pear-shape and sighs wistfully::...are just lovely. Am looking forward to following your and Ms. Malena's adventures in future entries.

Yay for personal training goodness! Above all else in your exercising, try to have a little fun and keep your goals doable along the way. :D

And if you ever need further inspiration for your slim-down plans, Miss Tree has a lovely site devoted to her own progress: http://www.ladymisstree.com/callipygian/

My two blogworlds just collided!

I read a handful of journals regularly. Some are fitness blogs (which mostly know about each other and link to each other) the others are Mr Gaiman's, Lisa Snellings' and this one.

Hmmm, I thought on reading Mistress Mousey's comment, "Callipygian" sounds awfully familiar.

A little checking reveals that my favourite fitness blog (www.dietgirl.org) has a sidebar link to it and that I have indeed been there before, although I didn't recall (being dense) that its author was LadyMissTree. I always have believed in the "six degrees of separation" theory, but I may now have to revise this to three.

If you can, please send me an email to ravyn_multimedia(at)yahoo(dot)com.
