I cannot make sense of that photograph. It's lovely, but... Is Lorraine on Malena's shoulders? Is the photo taken at a really funny angle? Have I not drunk enough coffee today? Ah, maybe that's it.
Looks to me like Lorraine is sitting in a chair with Malena sitting on the floor between Lorraine's legs. Malena's arms are on Lorraine's legs.
