I think I would have to see it with someone who was REALLY into it for it to make any kind of good impression on me. Too much violence, too much glorification of violence. But that is just the opinion I gained from the trailers and everyone likes different movie types.Rubiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12489017422221346200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10610763.post-66509518490095136392007-04-10T16:28:00.000-07:002007-04-10T16:28:00.000-07:00"We are the stuff that dreams are made of." Shakespeare
People are interesting creatures enough to read about and can be so exotic that they can make vampires, witches and other creatures of the night look rather dull.
By the way, has anyone seen the film "GrindHouse" yet? I been reading rather mixed reviews but it sounds like great fun! Still, it's 3 hours long! That a long time to sit with one's popcorn and soda. Please, if anyone has seen it let me know. I admire your opinions so! Well, I wasn't imagining things, we did have an earthquake last week, it's center was in Palm Springs. Which means, eek! Activity there means we may have more shakers ahead. I know, I grew up in LA. So I would advise my fellow LA friends to wear your jammies to bed (I usually sleep la natural) have shoes near by, lots of bottle water, flash lights and cash, ATM don't work after an earthquake. I'm sleeping in my yoga clothes for the next three weeks. But my HardTail yoga clothes are very comfty to sleep in. The last episode, in which Izzard and Driver discussed their own marital troubles while pulling a con on the ex-wife of the man Izzard has been impersonating was brilliant and moving.

And I love that their youngest son is a little drag kid and the mother's line that she loves him just how he is but he needs to pick one gender for the con. To answer Nadine's question I have seen "The Riches" show, it's a little dark in humor and Eddie look takes a getting use to, prefer the man in drag. But the show is interesting and very funnny at moments but it's still rather dark. Hope that helps you Nadine. Lorraine, how was your performance this Saturday? Did you take photos?
